Travel about 10 miles northeast of Elizabethton on Route 91 to the Stony Creek Valley, take a left on Panhandle Road toward Holston Mountain. About a mile up on the left you will find a graveled parking area. On the right side of the parking area is a marked trail that takes you down to 4 waterfalls that make up Blue Hole Falls and down to the plunge pool. It is a short hike and the scenery is beautiful.

There is another trail that leaves from the left of th eparking area. This trail  moves closely along a high ridge above the falls.
